Here's a Free Play and look at one of the interesting storylines for today's games. After the Selection Committee excluded Georgia and Florida State from the College Football Playoffs, the two teams seem to have opposite views. Georgia wants to prove something: that its tight loss to Alabama didn't deserve a drop from numero uno to OUT. On the other hand, Florida State now has more than 20 players sitting out for the game.
The point spread has moved up to a huge Georgia -20.5 (from a -14 opener). Some contrarians may want to take the huge points, especially as the spread moves to certain key numbers. On the other hand, some experts expect a beating (and think the move hasn't actually been big enough!). Our models actually see value on the Over in this game, at least based on current sports figures.
