In an earlier blog post, we said that we like the Philadelphia 76ers to outperform during this year's NBA playoffs. This long-term conviction, today - is supported by today's early sports marketplace action.
It's interesting because we normally like to take underdogs. The 76ers are visiting favorites – but just slight favorites. AND – while most bets are coming in on the 76ers, almost all of the actual dollars are on the 76ers. The big money likes the 76ers over the superstar-depleted Nets.
Did you know: that when taking the favorites, it sometimes pays to get down early because the line may be driven higher by the betting public?
