With the NBA Playoffs and NHL Playoffs marching forward, there are fewer and fewer games on the board. Tonight, we'll mention the NBA's late game – and give an example of sports marketplace indicators.
Note that both of these plays are merely LEANS – but give examples of tailing the Bigger, and normally Smarter, money. The Phoenix Suns and Under in that game both have less than half of the bets – BUT have a large majority of money (75% and 60% respectively) on the Suns and Under.
This is the type of market action that we like to see. These leans might have been plays – but we normally like to see the percentage of bets less than about 40% (meaning a more contrarian play).
