As games dwindle in the NBA and NHL, our Members may note that several of our highlighted plays yesterday were on Totals.
On average, the general public roots for high-scoring games. Thus, there is generally value on the Under in totals. Over the years, this edge has decreased a bit – but historical data and results show that the Under is still normally the way to go.
In some ways, we view the Under as walking a tightrope to value. As the minutes or innings tick by – we are threading a needle to that value. Although we normally prefer to take the Under, we need verification from our sports marketplace indicators.
