Stanley Cup Finals
- On Thursday, the sports betting marketplace had us LEAN towards the Florida Panthers – in a near do-or-die situation. Florida won game 3 and now trails the series two games to one.
- It's a bit early in the day for a less popular sport like hockey.
- For example, for certain very popular sports (for example, the NFL) - the larger number of bets establishes a pattern that is more statistically significant - much earlier in the day.
- The data as of mid-day on Saturday shows that the smart/big money is favoring Vegas to re-establish control of the series.
- We currently lean towards Vegas in Game 4 – and our Members will see an outright play triggered if the data warrants a play.
- Members: we will trigger a play by about 4pm, depending on the data.
