As we have mentioned, we will be increasingly focused on other sports such as basketball: both Pro (NBA) and College Basketball (CBB).  The NFL is a fan and sports betting favorite, but there will be fewer games (and profit opps) as we move down from the NFL's elite 8, to final four and Super Bowl.

Today, we take a look at Member features – for college hoops.  Our Members may recall:

  • We first like to filter games with the “technicals” or sports marketplace data.  This shows us contrarian views and flags sharp money.
  • Another interesting feature our team has successfully been using are fundamentals based on power ratings.  So-called “smart” vs. “dopey” rankings to quantify value.
  • Our Members have access to this feature (Over- and Under-valued teams) for CBB.
  • Today – this method circled a game: Clemson is over-valued and overrated.  We like Virginia Tech in this game; and the technicals lean in VT's direction as well.

And, yes, we cannot overlook the NFL.  In today's games, the sports marketplace generally leans to the underdogs – but fundamentals lean towards the favorites.

  • For pools where you pick a winner, we like the favorites; otherwise lean to underdogs and big points.
  • Tomorrow's game may have a stronger indication.
