As we near the weekend, we figured we would throw out some TNT (Thursday Night Thoughts) on a few games we have circled.
First, for the big Thursday Night Football contest, we lean to the Raiders. We generally prefer underdogs, but tonight, we have several sharps on the Raiders -6.5. If your book still shows a Raiders -6, grab it; the line could soon tick up to -7 based on the sports market action.
In college hoops, there is an interesting play between Iowa and Iowa State. We have two angles that are on Iowa. One is the newly-mentioned fundamental ratings – which shows Iowa State to be hugely overrated. We also have certain contrarian indicators on Iowa (that just missed our triggers). Take Iowa minus a few (Iowa -2.5).
